Watch where they naturally settle. A low-traffic corner beside the family space can offer both company and a chance to switch off. Keep the bed away from direct heat and make sure there is always an easy route in and out.

Choose a washable surface and check the measurements against the way your pet sleeps. Leave room for a full stretch, not just a tight curl. Introduce a new bed gradually with a familiar blanket.
